It’s the weekend! You slept in and are too lazy to make yourself food. Brunch is the perfect solution. Where? We have an idea: check out Kotakotak Cafe at Glenmarie, Shah Alam.

We paid a visit last weekend. The quiet neighbourhood allows us to escape from the hustle and noise.

Founded by two Malaysian sisters and their collaborators, Kotakoktak Cafe takes on a minimalist approach to its design. The minimal-esque interior of the cafe is something we love most. It exudes a relaxing vibe for dining with friends or just plain catching up with assignments/work in the cafe.

All we need is good food for life. Mmhmm yes.

Lots of ‘kotaks’ (boxes) are seen here, living up to its name.

The cafe has lots of natural light which will definitely be a favourite among Instagrammers for visually-pleasing photos. We can’t help but had a mini photoshoot here!

Hint: Take the window seat at the end of the cafe.

 This is definitely a place for you to park yourself for hours while sipping a cup of tea/coffee.

Cafe-hopping calls for a casual and light outfit to keep us comfortable in this crazy warm weather. Hence, we turn to our trusty basic crop top and keep it playful with a tennis skirt.
